Adventure Through Iran’s Central Desert by Bike

Pick you up from hotel in Isfahan and we will travel about 230Km to Anarak. We will start a 50 Km distance biking toward a village in desert. Check into a cozy guesthouse and enjoy special traditional meal for lunch. In the evening we’ll enjoy beautiful landscape and hiking in area and watch sunset in that nice scenery. (L-D)

After breakfast we’ll back by bike to vehicle which is waiting for us in Anarak. We’ll drive toward Farahzad, a village surrounded by desert and sand. Check into guesthouse. In the afternoon we will look around village and have a special experience of walking on sand dunes. At night we have special program for stargazing. (B-L-D)

This day we will have a different experience of cycling through the desert (about 50Km) from Farahzad to an oasis which is the remotest residential village in middle of desert in Iran. Luckily there is a guesthouse so we will check into the guesthouse and stay there during night and enjoy virgin environment and starry night in desert. (B-L-D)

Ride back to join the vehicle on the main road. Drive to Garmeh oasis with palm trees garden. Enjoy your time in the evening around fire and eat traditional food in a nice desert house’s yard.

Drive to Ardekan. On the way visit a complex of ancient water reservoir. Visit ancient village of Aqda, have lunch there and drive toward Varzaneh via desert road by the Gavkhuni wetland. Today we spend a short distance for biking from ancient caravanserai to Gavkhuni wetland and Black Mountain which was created by lava. At night we will stay in a guesthouse in Varzaneh. (B-D)

In this day will visit Gav Chah (system of irrigation by bull), Camel mill, pigeon tower and last bridge on the Zayandeh Rood. Drive to khara from there biking in sandy road to salt lake through Gavkhuni wetland and back. Drive to Isfahan. Check into a hotel. (B-L)
