Ginger or Shnguyr is an edible, spice and medicinal plant. Ginger is a yellow plant with purple streaks with the scientific name of Zingiber officinale. Although ginger is often referred to as the root of the plant but in principle swollen underground stem of the plant used that is called “rhizome”.
The ginger genius is from Gingers family of herbaceous of perennial with about 70 species from native to Southeast Asia with thin and flute stems and the Glossy green spear leaves that they grow out from the stem gland. They have yellowish green flowers with purple lips and cream-colored spots and small conical inflorescence and a dense spike that the stalks are out of the ground in summer.
